A visual study on the physical artifacts of late-20th-century communication. Obsolete Signals examines the physical objects that once transmitted our stories, music, and news, now rendered silent by digital acceleration.

Shot on warm, fine-grain film under muted indoor lighting, this series highlights the tactile geometry, forgotten typography, and worn surfaces of analog devices, inviting the viewer to reflect on how rapidly our tools of connection become relics of the past.

Whether capturing the weathered plastic of a 90s television set, the still solitude, or the intimate relics of his upbringing, Holm’s photographs evoke a bittersweet sehnsucht, a yearning for moments, spaces, and objects that time has left behind.

After Hours

An exploration of spaces built for joy, photographed in total stillness and absence. After Hours documents the quiet, haunting beauty of deserted playgrounds, rusting swings, and natural landscapes where human activity has receded.

Utilizing soft morning haze and diffused afternoon light, the series strips away the noise of modern life to reveal the solemn geometry of public spaces paused in time, existing as monuments to childhoods long since passed.

Domestic Archeology

An intimate, autobiographical series centered on the material memory of home. Domestic Archeology treats everyday personal items, a worn wooden chair, an old bedside lamp, a handwritten note, and sun-faded curtains, as emotional artifacts.

Through warm tones and gentle depth of field, Holm turns the domestic interior into an archive of quiet nostalgia, mapping how identity and memory become embedded in the physical objects we grow up alongside.
